Robert Harrison Brinton, Sr., 69, of Bethany, died February 12, 2008 at the CT Hospice in Branford.  Bob was the Bethany Town Historian, former Zoning Enforcement Officer and also served on numerous civic groups and municipal committees.  He was born May 16, 1938, the son of Dr. Malcolm H. Brinton, D.D.S. and Anna Harrison Lay Brinton.
